SUNDAY’S EDITION OF “BIG BROTHER” IS THE NIGHT’S TOP SHOW IN KEY DEMOGRAPHICS
“Big Brother” Posts Across-the-Board Increases from Last Week; CBS Wins Sunday
BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was the night’s #1 program in key demographics and posted across-the-board increases from last week, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for July 31.
From 8:00-9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (8.06m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09), adults 18-49 (2.8/09) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08) for the fourth consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +12% in households (from 4.2/07), +17% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/08), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/08), +5% in adults 18-34 (from 2.1/08) and added +1.03m viewers (from 7.03m, +15%). For the night, CBS was first in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.61m), adults 25-54 (2.2/06) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05) for the third straight week.
